J. C. Zinser is in the front row, center of this photo. I believe it is a photo of him with the teachers from North Side School in Belvidere, Illinois. He was principal there in the late 1880's and was also superintendent of the Boone County schools. Later he moved his family to Oregon where he became superintendent of the schools in Oregon City.
