From the Atlanta Constitution,
November 15, 1892: "At 2:30 o'clock yesterday the Hotel Aragon
was opened with the booming of cannon and the waving of flags.
Just at the hour mentioned Manager B. K. Tice fired the Aragon cannon,
the flag was hoisted and Atlanta had a splendidly equipped hotel
at her service.
"The Aragon will be conducted on both the European and American plans, and , in the hands of such efficient gentlement as those in charge, can be nothing but a success." Card postmarked 1910.
