| Marcy Stanton was born May 03, 1788 in Hartland, Windsor Co, VT. Her parents were Phineas Stanton, II and Esther Gallup. The Stanton and Gallup families were earlier settlers in the 1640s of Stonington, Connecticut and had migrated to Hartland,Vermont in 1778. In May 1810, Marcy Stanton married Sylvanus Sabin. They migrated to Wyoming Co, New York where all of their children were born. In 1833 they became early settlers of Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois. Marcy died November 10, 1874 in Naperville, Illinois & is buried in the Naperville Cemetery.
