East Tennessee Postcards

Welcome to Vintage East Tennessee, a collection of vintage postcards of town scenes and events of East Tennessee.   I became fascinated with vintage postcards while I was building my DuPage County, Illinois ALHN site.  I couldn't seem to find any postcards of DuPage County, but I amassed quite a collection of vintage Chicago cards.   I  also have collected a few of Atlanta,
and my friend, Betty Jane Hylton, contributed some great Jonesborough cards to the Jonesborough town site.

The first cards in this series were lent to this project by my aunt, and they are from her mother-in-law's collection of 1906-1910 cards.  You are encouraged to link to this site if you have an interest in East Tennessee sites or history, but please do not use any of these images on other web pages.
